October 20, 2018. Municipal & School Trustee Elections across BC. Election period starts Jan 1, 2018, even though election day isn’t until Oct 20. Candidates for Mayor, Council, and school trustee seats across BC may submit nomination papers starting Sept 4. The official campaign period begins Sept 22. Election Oct 20.
